SIA “Vārpas 1” is a family-run business with over 25 years’ experience in woodworking.
The company was founded in 1996, initially focusing on forestry. As the sector developed and the company recognised the great potential in timber processing, a sawmill was established at its current location in 1998.
Initially, the company produced unplaned and undried sawn timber; however, over time, through continuous development, the production process has been significantly modernised and optimised. Today, some of the processes are automated, ensuring greater efficiency and consistent quality.
